CANCELLATION POLICY

For a cancellation that occurs more than two weeks before the start of your camp session, you may receive a partial refund. $100 of your camp tuition (plus the online processing fee of 3%, added at checkout) is non-refundable regardless of the date of cancellation with no exceptions. If you cancel prior to the two-week cut-off, you may choose to receive a refund for all except for the non-refundable portion of your tuition or you may choose to apply your entire tuition toward the immediate next summer's Duke Men’s Basketball Camp (non-transferrable). Use of the camp credit is still subject to availability at the time of registration for the following summer's camp. If there is an increase in camp tuition, the registrant must pay the difference between the current tuition and the tuition at the time of the original registration/cancellation. A camper may not choose the camp credit option and then later elect for a partial refund.

There is no refund for cancellations within two weeks of the camp session’s start date.

MEALS/FOOD

Day campers in Session 1 are served lunch daily in the on-campus cafeteria, the Brodhead Center. There are a wide variety of healthy food options offered at each meal. This facility is peanut free (with exception of individually packaged peanut butter).

The Brodhead Center cafeteria is staffed by the same company that serves Duke Students throughout the school year so they are very much accustomed to accommodating various dietary restrictions / food allergies.

Should your camper have any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies that you feel should be brought to our attention, let us know in advance on the online registration form.

The form has fields for the type of restriction / allergy and the procedure our camp staff should follow in case a reaction occurs at camp. We also ask that those campers and their families visit with our camp medical training staff at check-in so that they can discuss, in detail, the condition and any specific concerns. If the camper has an epi-pen for emergency use, we ask that you bring one for us to have in the camp training room in Cameron Indoor Stadium and we also ask that the camper bring along a string backpack clearly labeled with his name so that he can carry the epi-pen with him as he goes from place-to-place on campus.

Please feel free to contact Kenny King @ kenny.king@duaa.duke.edu if you have additional questions or concerns regarding the cafeteria.
