Any and all boys ages 9-18 years (elementary-high school) - admittance limited based on availability.
Day Camper: $450 per session
Camp tuition is due in full at the time of registration. A 3% processing fee will be added at checkout.
Session 1 Day Camp Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
Camp runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily, Monday through Thursday. More details regarding drop-off and pick-up procedures will be available in the weeks leading up to camp. Camp activities will take place on the Duke University campus with Cameron Indoor Stadium as our primary meeting location.
Session 1 Day Camp Daily Schedule:
Each day will consist of station work, games and contests. Lunch will be the only meal served at camp. Campers are welcome to also bring a snack to eat during breaks or to purchase a snack from our camp concessions stand. A detailed daily camp schedule will be available in the spring.
$100 of your camp tuition (plus the online processing fee) is non-refundable regardless of the date of cancellation with no exceptions. Should circumstances require you to cancel prior to two weeks ahead of your camp session’s start date, you may choose to receive a refund for all except for the non-refundable portion of your tuition or you may choose to apply your entire tuition toward the immediate next summer's Duke Men’s Basketball Camp (non-transferrable). Use of the camp credit is still subject to availability at the time of registration for the following summer's camp. If there is an increase in camp tuition, the registrant must pay the difference between the current tuition and the tuition at the time of the original registration/cancellation. A camper may not choose the camp credit option and then later elect for a partial refund.
Our primary goal in forming camp teams is to ensure balanced competition. Teams are assigned based on date of birth and height and are adjusted by our coaching staff during evaluation games on the first day. We do not honor team assignment requests.
When you have successfully completed the online application and your credit card payment has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation email to the address associated with your online account. This email confirms your camper's admittance into camp. There is nothing sent by standard mail. If you believe that your registration went through successfully but you have not received your confirmation email, please check your junk email folder. If you still cannot find your confirmation, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You will receive an additional email closer to camp time with some additional information and reminders.
Unfortunately, we are limited by NCAA regulations and are unable to provide financial assistance to our camp.
Coach K/Duke Staff/Duke Players Role in Camp:
Coach K is very involved with the camp, and with few exceptions, speaks to the camp at least once a day. The rest of the current Duke coaching staff also has a daily presence at camp. Coach K will also take a photo with each camp team which will be available for download in the weeks following camp.
Former and current players speak to the camp and sign autographs when available. We always have former and current players around camp but, because of their busy and sometimes unpredictable schedules, are unable to announce in advance which players will be there during which sessions.
Friends and family are welcome to send mail to campers, which will be handed out during camp. The camp address is:
c/o Duke Basketball Camp
Durham, NC 27708-0560
Coach K and Duke Basketball Camp have a zero tolerance policy on bullying. All campers are expected to conform to this and all standards of behavior established by the camp director. Disruptive behavior could result in dismissal.
