General Information

Participant Profile

Please join us for our second annual parent/child camp. This camp will be a one-day camp with a variety of stations for parents and children to participate in together. Each parent/child pair will have the chance to interact with Duke Basketball coaches and staff and will get an inside look into various aspects of the Duke Basketball program and the Brotherhood. Stations will include a chance to hone your basketball skills and compete with other campers, a hype content station for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, behind the scenes access of our facilities in and around Cameron Indoor Stadium, and much more! The day will conclude with a closing dinner with Head Coach Jon Scheyer where you will receive exclusive gear and a chance to win prizes!

Age

The parent/child camp is appropriate for children in the 6th grade and younger (minimum age 8 years old) and for adults above the age of 22.

Cost

$1000 per session + processing fees

Camp tuition is due in full at the time of registration

Cancellation Policy

For a cancellation that occurs more than two weeks before the start of your camp session, you may receive a partial refund. Regardless of date of cancellation, $100 of camp tuition plus the online processing fee are non-refundable, with no exceptions. If you cancel more than two weeks prior to the start of your session, you may choose to receive a refund (for all except for the non-refundable portion) or apply your entire tuition toward the immediate next summer’s Duke Men’s Basketball Camp (non-transferrable). Use of the camp credit is still subject to availability at the time of registration for the following summer’s camp. If there is an increase in camp tuition, the registrant must pay the difference between the current tuition and the tuition at the time of the original registration/cancellation. A camper may not choose the camp credit option and then later elect for a partial refund.

There is no refund for cancellations within two weeks of the camp session’s start date.

Meals

Lunch will be served in Scharf Hall and dinner will be served in Champions Club. There are a wide variety of healthy food options offered at each meal. This facility is peanut free (with the exception of individually packaged peanut butter).

Scharf Hall and Champions Club is staffed by the same catering company that services the Duke Student Athletics throughout the school year, so they are accustomed to accommodate various dietary restrictions and food allergies.

Should the parent and/or child have any dietary restrictions and/or food allergies, please use the online registration form to describe both the restriction/allergy, as well as the procedures our camp staff should follow if a reaction occurs. We also ask that the parent and child visit with our camp medical training staff at check-in so that they can discuss, in detail, the condition and any specific concerns. If the camper has an epi-pen for emergency use, we ask that you bring one for us to have in the camp training room in Cameron Indoor Stadium, and that the camper bring along a string backpack clearly labeled with his name to carry the epi-pen with him from place-to-place on campus.

Please contact Mikaela Ryan @ mikaela.ryan@duke.edu if you have additional questions or concerns regarding the cafeteria.

**Jon Scheyer Duke Men’s Basketball camp is open to any and all registrants (limited only by number, age/grade and gender).
