Camp Staff:

All camp coaches and camp staff go through an interview process and a formal background check when hired.

Code of Conduct:

Campers that attend Jon Scheyer Duke Basketball Camp are expected to follow the below:

• Respect each other, the coaches and the facilities at all times

• Be responsible for their actions

• Be honest and truthful in every situation

• No physical aggression at any time

• Use of respectful and appropriate language when speaking with other campers, coaches, staff members and anyone on campus

Concessions:

Gear and food will be available for sale at the North Lobby concession stand.

Disciplinary Procedures:

Campers will be talked to about the situation and reminded of the camp code of conduct.

The Camp Director will be made aware of the problem and address as they see necessary with the appropriate people. A parent will be called if the problem is severe or continues.

Drop Off:

Drop off is available in the Whitford Drive Circle (GPS Address: 110 Whitford Drive).

Facilities:

The Jon Scheyer Duke Basketball Camp will use the following facilities for camp:

• Cameron Indoor Stadium

• The Krzyzewski Center

• Card Gym

• The Wilson Recreation Center

Guests:

Guests are permitted to watch their campers throughout camp in the seating areas of the facilities. Guest are not permitted in the dining hall area.

Meals:

Campers are served lunch daily in Scharf Hall. Please see the Camp Information tab for specific details.

Pick Up:

Pick up will be at the different facilities used during camp. More information about pick up will be provided at check-in.

Schedule:

Check-in on the first day of each session: 8:00AM

Camp Hours: 9:00AM- 4:00PM; the last day will be 9:00AM-2:00PM

Jon Scheyer Duke Basketball Camp will be a fun, fast- paced, and educational four- day camp designed to instill the same values and skills that built the foundation of success for Duke Basketball. Campers can expect to play two games per day with their team, including at least one game in historic Cameron Indoor Stadium during the week. In addition to camp games, campers will have an opportunity to refine their skills on and off the court. On the court, they will receive instruction from some of the top prep coaches in the country in foundational skill areas like ball handling, defense, rebounding, and shooting. Away from the court, campers will work with Duke Basketball staff to learn what it takes to become an elite basketball player with opportunities to learn about the conditioning, nutrition, and mental preparation that sets Duke Basketball players apart.

What to Bring:

• Basketball sneakers

• Jon Scheyer Duke Basketball Camp reversible practice jersey (will be provided upon check-in; see below to purchase extras)

• A water bottle

Water stations will be available in each facility for refills

Purchasing Additional Camp Jerseys:

All campers will receive one (1) reversible jersey that is included in the tuition. If you would like to purchase additional jerseys, you may do so for $20.00 per jersey.
