Jon Scheyer – By the Numbers

• Only player in Duke history to record at least 2,000 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists, 250 three- point field goals and 200 steals

• Scored 2,077 career points, ranking 10th on Duke’s all-time scoring list

• Tallied 608 made free throws (ranking 3rd  all-time) and a .861 free throw percentage (4 th all-time)

• Played 144 consecutive career games, and 1,470 minutes in his senior season (the ACC and Duke single-season record of minutes played)

An All-American, National Champion, ACC Tournament MVP and two-time team captain, Duke great Jon Scheyer was named the next head coach at his alma mater on June 2, 2021. Scheyer, who played for Mike Krzyzewski from 2007 to 2010, has served on the Hall of Famer’s staff since the 2013-14 season.

A respected and tireless recruiter, Scheyer has helped Duke sign a top-three class in every season during his time on staff, signing players such as Jayson Tatum, Paolo Banchero, RJ Barrett, Tyus and Tre Jones, Luke Kennard, Frank Jackson, Cam Reddish and Grayson Allen to name just a few. Duke’s incoming 2024 class includes three five-star prospects and would give the Blue Devils their sixth No. 1-ranked class in the last ten years.

A winner in every sense of the word, with Jon on the court or on staff, the Blue Devils have won nearly 80% of their games including two NCAA titles and five ACC Tournament crowns.
